✦ The Pregnancy ritual

A low-effort ritual for this season

Standing for an hour isn't the season you're in. This is the shortest routine we'd keep — and the small prep that makes the newborn weeks easier.

How often
Every 7–10 days, sitting down if that's easier.
How long
About 30 minutes
Mid-week
Oil the scalp once mid-week. Skip anything that needs both arms above your head twice.

Step 1

Cleanse — fewer sections, less standing

  1. 01Two sections instead of four. Cleanse the scalp, rinse, condition, detangle.
  2. 02Use a shower stool or wash at the sink if standing is uncomfortable.
  3. 03Cool rinse to finish.

How much · A quarter-size of shampoo per section.

Time · 10 minutes

What we'd use

Step 2

Nourish — scalp oil, seated

  1. 01Part in rows and apply oil directly to the scalp.
  2. 02Massage a minute with fingertips.
  3. 03If you have time, add a deep conditioner while you rest.

How much · One dropper along the parts.

Time · 10 minutes

What we'd use

Step 3

Protect — style it to last

  1. 01Leave-in on damp hair, seal the ends, then choose a style you can keep for a week or more.
  2. 02Braids, twists or a simple bun mean fewer wash days once baby arrives.
  3. 03Satin at night.

How much · A palmful of leave-in, pea-size of butter on the ends.

Time · 10 minutes

✦ Worth knowing

  • Hair often behaves differently during pregnancy and again after. Both are normal seasons, not problems to solve overnight.
  • Worth doing now: pick the low-effort style you'll wear in the first weeks, and keep one oil within arm's reach of where you'll feed.

✦ What comes next

Baby is the next season.

When baby arrives, their whole routine is a drop of oil and a soft comb — we'll walk you through it.

✦ We grow with you™

Let us come back when the season does.

We'll check in once baby arrives with the ten-minute newborn routine. No drip campaign, no daily noise — one note when what you're doing should change, with the routine already written out.

Baby's birth month is optional — it only sets the timing.
