✦ The Family ritual

One wash day, every head

One shelf, one afternoon, one order of operations — with the last step adjusted per head. Here's how households run it.

How often
One family wash day a week, same day each week.
How long
About 90 minutes for a household of three or four
Mid-week
A shared refresh night mid-week: light water mist, leave-in, re-tie.

Step 1

Cleanse — youngest first, in sections

  1. 01Start with the youngest while everyone still has patience.
  2. 02Section each head into four, detangle with conditioner before water.
  3. 03Cleanse and rinse one head fully before starting the next.

How much · A quarter-size of shampoo per section, per head.

Time · 40 minutes

Step 2

Nourish — one deep condition running in parallel

  1. 01Apply deep conditioner to each head as you finish cleansing it.
  2. 02Let everyone sit with it at the same time — this is the trick that saves the afternoon.
  3. 03Rinse in the same order you started.

How much · One to two palmfuls per head, mid-lengths and ends.

Time · 25 minutes, overlapping

Step 3

Protect — adjust the last step per head

  1. 01Lighter for babies and little ones: leave-in and a drop of oil.
  2. 02Richer for adults and thicker textures: leave-in, butter, sealed ends.
  3. 03Style damp, tie down for the night, done.

How much · A drop of oil for the youngest; a pea-size of butter per section for grown crowns.

Time · 25 minutes

✦ Worth knowing

  • Shared where it makes sense, individual where it matters — one hair-care home, not one identical routine.
  • Same day each week beats a perfect routine you run once a month.

✦ We grow with you™

Let us come back when the season does.

We'll check in when a new season lands in your house. No drip campaign, no daily noise — one note when what you're doing should change, with the routine already written out.

Baby's birth month is optional — it only sets the timing.
